Outpatient Services
Abilene Behavioral Health offers a structured outpatient program specifically designed to meet the needs of individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance abuse issues. These service lines include Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient treatment and traditional outpatient treatment for all ages. These treatment options can be utilized as a step-down from hospitalization or can also be utilized to help prevent hospitalization.
Our Approach
Abilene Behavioral Health's outpatient services provide comprehensive treatment to provide an evaluation of the individual's primary symptoms and problems. Programming is adjusted to meet the needs of the patient population through medication management, individual sessions, and family sessions, while emphasizing the development of coping mechanisms to create the best opportunity for relapse prevention. Each patient will have an individualized treatment plan to meet each patient's needs and address patient goals to prepare the individual for a successful step-down to less restrictive care, including back to the community.
If you do not need the structure or security of an acute care setting, but require a level of intensity beyond traditional outpatient services, our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) or Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is designed for you.
