Treatment Programs & Levels of Care

Child Program

Specially designed for children ages 5-12, the Abilene Behavioral Health Children’s Program provides a controlled and structured environment for children experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties. Through group, expressive, and play therapies, patients begin to learn healthy behaviors to help them cope with their issues.

Adolescent Program

The Abilene Behavioral Health Adolescent Program treats young people ages 13-18. The turbulent times of adolescence require empathy and structure, and our program is designed to provide an environment in which we can help adolescents understand the problems they are facing, then learn coping skills designed towards those problems.

Adult Program

For men and women ages 18 and older, the Abilene Behavioral Health Adult Program provides services that inspire understanding and effective coping. Helping you take the courageous steps necessary to deal with both the situational and chronic stressors that result in emotional and mental trauma are the focus of our staff as they get you on the road to feeling better.
